Kawartha Lakes Police Service Launches Police Week

 (Kawartha Lakes, ON) – Police Week in Ontario runs from May 11 to 17, 2025, and the Kawartha Lakes Police Service is proud to join with police services across the province to kick off Police Week (#PoliceWeekON). This week, we will be celebrating the work front-line police officers, 9-1-1 communicators, and police members do to keep Ontarians safe.

 The theme for the week is Protecting Ontario and highlights the importance of safe communities to the overall health and well-being of all Ontarians and the role police members in keeping Ontario safe

 Throughout this week, the Kawartha Lakes Police Service will be highlighting the many ways in which our members continue to serve our community.

 The annual Police Week in Ontario is sponsored by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General.
