Domestic Disturbance Investigation:

On May 6^th 2024, The Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to a Domestic disturbance call at 2:30am in the area of Pottinger street in Lindsay.  Upon arrival officers located an injured male party.  He was transported to Ross Memorial Hospital by Kawartha Lakes Paramedics and treated for his injuries.

A 21-year-old Lindsay female was located and after an investigation she was arrested and charged with the following:

• Aggravated Assault
• Assault with a Weapon

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay.
