Impaired Drive Arrested

Kawartha Lakes Police charge driver after responding to a motor vehicle collision Friday evening.

On Friday, October 27, 2023 at 8:30pm, police responded to a two-vehicle collision in the area of Kent Street West and Angeline Street North. No injuries were reported.

As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old Lindsay man has been charged with the following offences:

• Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
• Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on December 7, 2023.
