Break and Enter Investigation
The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred at an Angeline Street South residence. Sometime, between 5:30pm, October 24 and 4:30pm, October 25, 2023, unknown suspects broke a window to gain entry to the residence before stealing property and fleeing the area. Officers collected physical evidence from the scene for forensic analysis.

Stabbing Investigation
On Thursday, October 26, 2023, at approximately 3:10am, Kawartha Lakes Police received information of a possible stabbing. Police attended the area of Wellington Street and William Street North, where a male victim was located. The male was transported to Ross Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. This investigation is ongoing.
