Theft of all-terrain vehicles and trailer

Kawartha Lakes Police are investigating the theft of two all-terrain vehicles and a utility trailer, stolen from a local business.

On October 3, 2022, police were contacted to investigate a break-in to an enclosed trailer located on the property of a Colborne Street East business in Lindsay.  Suspects pried open an enclosed trailer stored on the property and removed two all-terrain vehicles. Video surveillance on the property shows, a white 4-door GMC pick-up truck enter the property just before 3:00am on October 3rd. It is seen leaving soon after, towing a stolen flatbed trailer and an all-terrain vehicle. At approximately 4:30am the same truck returned with the trailer, unknown suspects loaded a second all-terrain vehicle onto the trailer and left the area.

The stolen property is described as follows:

  • 2011 Can Am Outlander Max XT, Black, with a black storage box on the back, bearing Ontario marker 3LB02
  • 2021 Can Am Outlander Max XT, Green, with a black storage box on the back, bearing Ontario marker 1FJ40
  • Black Jensen utility trailer, bearing Ontario marker P5066A
