KLPS investigating break and enter to Albert Street South business
The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating after a break and enter occurred at a business on Albert Street South in Lindsay. At 6:59am on Monday June 27, 2022, a vehicle described as a dark coloured, Kia sport utility vehicle pulled into the parking lot. The driver exited the vehicle and smashed the glass out of the front door. Two passengers exited the vehicle, removing a large recycle bin with wheels from the rear compartment and entered the store. While inside they loaded the bin with items before fleeing when an audible alarm sounded. This incident is being investigated by the Criminal Investigation Branch of the Kawartha Lakes Police Service.
