Impaired Driving Arrest

On Thursday June 13^th, 2024 at approximately 09:30am Kawartha Lakes Police Service received a call with regards to a male passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle.  Further investigation revealed that a 55-year-old male from Lindsay was Impaired.  The driver was arrested and charged with the following offences:

• Operation while Impaired – alcohol and drugs

In addition to the charges the driver received a 90 -day driver’s licence suspension and the vehicle was impounded for 7-days.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on July 25^th, 2024.
