Two Impaired Driving Arrests

On Saturday January 20^th, 2024 at approximately 2:20am the Kawartha Lakes Police Service conducted a traffic stop.  Further investigation revealed that a 22-year-old Springwater female was Impaired.  She was subsequently charged with the following offences:

• Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
• Operation while Impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

Following that, on Saturday January 20^th, 2024 at approximately 9:30am the Kawartha Lakes Police Service attended a single motor vehicle collision.  As a result of the investigation a 39-year-old Toronto male was charged with the following offences:

• Operation while Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
• Operation while Impaired – Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

Both accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on February 29^th, 2024.
