Impaired Driver Arrested

On Saturday, January 6^th, 2024 at approximately 1:15pm, a Kawartha Lakes Police Officer conducted a traffic stop in Lindsay.   As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old Lindsay man was arrested for Operation While Impaired.   Further investigation revealed that the male driver was also a suspended driver.  The accused was charged with the following offences:

Operation while Impaired – alcohol and drugs

Operation while prohibited

Driving while under suspension

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on 15^th February 2024.
