Kawartha Lakes Police Service Media Release September 15, 2023

Drug warrant executed 

On Thursday, September 14, 2023 members of the Kawartha Lakes Police Service Street Crime Unit, Drug Unit and Criminal Investigation Branch with the assistance of Peterborough Police Service Emergency Response Team and Emergency Medical Services executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Kirkconnell Road residence after conducting a drug related investigation.

As a result of this search warrant multiple individuals were arrested and charged.

Adam Hall, 45 years of Lindsay,

  • Traffick a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine X2
  • Possession of a ScheduleI Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a ScheduleI Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Breach Firearms Regulation – Store Firearm or restricted weapon

Brandon Finlay, 28 years of Lindsay,

  • Possession of a ScheduleI Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a ScheduleI Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Breach Firearms Regulation – Store Firearm or restricted weapon

Cyril Hall, 75 years of Lindsay,

Shirley Hall, 73 years of Lindsay,

  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Breach Firearms Regulation – Store Firearm or restricted weapon

Aleshia Nelson, 30 years of Lindsay,

  • Possession of a ScheduleI Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a ScheduleI Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
  • Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
  • Breach Firearms Regulation – Store Firearm or restricted weapon

A search of the residence revealed that these individuals were in possession of a quantity of cocaine, fentanyl, a loaded firearm and a quantity of Canadian Currency.

The accused individuals will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay.
