Kawartha Lakes Police investigating theft of vehicle and firearms
The Kawartha Lakes Police are seeking information from the public that could help locate a vehicle and firearms that were stolen in from a farm property in the area of Highway 35 and Tower Road in Ops Township.
On Monday, September 11th, 2023 at approximately 7:30pm, police received a report of a stolen vehicle with firearms inside. The vehicle is described as a white 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pick-up truck, Ontario license plate “BB 29436.” The vehicle had firearms inside for hunting purposes, described as a SKS rifle and a 12-gauge Remington 870 shotgun. The vehicle was stolen sometime between 1:00pm and 7:30pm on September 11, 2023.
