Assault charge

On May 31, 2023, Kawartha Lake Police responded to an incident involving a support worker and a student at St Dominic’s Catholic Elementary School in Lindsay. As a result of an investigation, 28-year-old Lindsay woman has been charged with assault. The child suffered minor injuries during the incident. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on July 13, 2023.

Impaired driver arrested

On June 6, 2023 at approximately 6:30pm, Kawartha Lakes Police were called to a Kent Street West parking lot to assist paramedics with a driver who was in distress. While speaking with the driver, the officer observed signs of impairment and entered into an impaired driving investigation. As a result of the investigation, 61-year-old Lindsay women has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on July 13, 2023.
