The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is aware of messaging that has been circulating recently on social media regarding women being followed and videotaped in Lindsay. Police have recently had one report of an incident of this nature. It was reported as suspicious, with nothing indicating that the complainant was being targeted.

The Kawartha Lakes Police Service is asking those in the community who have been involved in an incident of this nature that has not been reported to contact the police directly at 705-324-5252.

• Call 9-1-1 to have officers attend the area if you feel threatened
