Weapons charges

A Lindsay male faces weapons charges after an incident Tuesday morning.

At approximately 5:45am on Tuesday March 7, 2023 police were called after a box cutter style blade was pulled on a male. The caller reported, while sitting in his vehicle having a conversation with an individual he was approached by an acquaintance of that individual. The acquaintance interrupted the conversation and pulled out a box cutter style blade and held in his face before leaving the area. As a result of an investigation, officers located and arrested the male a short time later.

A 40-year-old Lindsay male has been charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He was held for a bail hearing on Tuesday.
