KLPS investigating robbery
On Friday August 12, 2022 at 9:15pm, Kawartha Lakes Police responded to a Queen Street convenience store in Lindsay, regarding a robbery that had just occurred. A lone male suspect was last seen exiting the store running westbound on Queen Street.
The suspect is described as male, white, medium build, entered the store wearing a dark-coloured button up collared shirt and dark-coloured jeans. The suspect approached the counter, brandishing a weapon demanding money from the clerk before leaving the store. There were no physical injuries reported.

Disturbance call
On Monday August 15, 2022 at 1:51am the Kawartha Lakes Police responded to a disturbance on Durham Street East. The disturbance involving a number of individuals became physical, victims fled the area entering a residence. Officers arrived as the accused individuals were attempting to gain access to the residence. An investigation of the incident resulted in the following charges;

- Mischief to property
- Uttering threats
Colt Kyle, 20,
- Mischief to property
- Uttering threats
Rhonda Anderson, 20,
- Assault
The accused parties will attend the Ontario Court of Justice located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on September 22, 2022.
