Police Week 2022 – Your Police Services: Helping Build Safer Communities

It’s #PoliceWeekON, and our Colouring / Story Contest is open!
The #KawarthaLakes Police Service invites kids of all ages to draw a picture or write a story about police officers working to keep our community safe and healthy everyday!
Submit your work by Saturday May 21st, to be entered into a prize draw!
Take a photo of yourself holding the picture or the finished product itself, email it or your story to [email protected]. Photos will be displayed @KLPSmedia and winner will be announced Monday May 23, 2022.

We invite you to take some time to drop by Victoria Park and have a coffee and chat with members of our Community Response Unit.                                                                                                              We will be happy to answer your questions related to mental health, addictions and general community safety. We look forward to seeing you in the park!

Cycle with the Chief, join us this Thursday, May 19th from 5pm to 6pm. Chat with the Chief as you take a ride along the Trans-Canada Trail. 🚵‍♂️
Meet at rear parking lot of the Lindsay Recreation Centre (off Angeline St South)
Helmets required for riders 18 and under, recommended for all ages. (Rain🌧or🌞Shine)
