Trailer stolen from Lindsay business

The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service is investigating the theft of a white box trailer from a Lindsay business.  At approximately 11:45pm on Monday February 12th 2018 a dark coloured SUV attended a business on St. George Street in Lindsay.  A male wearing a black jacket, grey hooded sweater and dark pants with fluorescent strips at the bottom was observed walking from the SUV to a white box trailer parked on the property.  A short time later the SUV left the St. George Street business, pulling the trailer.  Ontario license plate “P6503N” is attached to the stolen trailer.  The City of Kawartha Lakes Police are asking that anyone who may have information regarding this theft contact them at 705.324.5252 or if you wish to provide your information anonymously you can do so through Crime Stoppers at 1.800. 222.TIPS (8477) or at www.khcs.ca.

 

House fire shuts down Queen Street in Lindsay

On Tuesday February 13, 2018 at 1:40pm the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded with Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue to a house fire on Queen Street in Lindsay.  Officers kept a section of Queen Street closed between Caroline Street and St. Paul Street while firefighters extinguished the fire.
